Dr. B. Van Innis was born and raised in Ghent. He completed his secondary education at the Sint-Barbaracollege in Ghent and subsequently obtained his medical degree from Ghent University. He completed his specialisation in orthopaedic surgery at renowned hospitals such as the Sint-Vincentiusziekenhuis Ghent (now AZ St. Lucas), the Aalsters Stedelijk Ziekenhuis, and UZ Gent, under the supervision of Prof. R. Verdonk. Since then, he has been active at AZ Oudenaarde and has recently expanded his practice to Brussels and Antwerp.
